Join Monique Flynn for this new workshop during which you’ll get a chance to explore your life and speak your truth through words and photographs.
Meet with others interested in taking this journey together. Explore your life, how you’ve been impacted by the mental health system, psychiatric labels, jail, homelessness, problems with drugs or alcohol, and more.
What has hurt you?
What has made you angry?
What’s your story of survival?
The group will meet for 10 one-and-a-half hour sessions starting:
Saturday, March 18, 11am
at the RLC’s Bowen Center, 235 Chestnut Street in Springfield.
Gatherings will include a mix of talking, writing, and art. Cameras will be available for loan for anyone who doesn’t have their own. An art show and artist talk-back will be held at the end of the series.
Space is limited and sign up is required. To learn more or request a spot, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call 413.539.5941 x 340.
You can also join us for one of two upcoming half hour ‘Truth be Told’ info sessions, on Thursday, March 2 at 12pm or Saturday, March 4 at 12pm. Both info sessions will be held at the Bowen Center in Springfield.
