The San Antonio State Hospital in partnership with Texas Department of State Health Services & Western Massachusetts RLC presents from the United Kingdom:

A One-Day Interactive Workshop for clinicians and people who work with individuals with lived experience of paranoia and unusual beliefs in a clinical setting or capacity ~ Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Medical/Nursing Students, MHPS’s & HVN Facilitators ~: “Working Through Paranoia & Making Sense of Unusual Beliefs”

A One-Day Conference for clinicians and people who work with individuals with lived experience of hearing voices in a clinical setting or capacity ~ Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Medical/Nursing Students, MHPS’s & HVN Facilitators ~

Participants will have the opportunity to learn to:

  • Identify different ways to understand and manage these experiences, promoting a more positive response and therapeutic outcome for individuals in healthcare settings and community
  • Create awareness of the diversity of voices, visions, and similar experiences and change the assumptions and negative stereotypes, stigma and discrimination experienced by individuals who have these experiences
