Know Your Rights Training Series: Moving Beyond Psychiatric Hospitalization

Navigating the psychiatric system? Receive a $50 gift card for completing this 1-day training opportunity designed for folks who are at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or have previously navigated the psychiatric system, though friends and loved ones are welcome to attend as well.

Topics include: strategies to navigate or support someone in emotional distress, alternatives to hospitalization, strategies to stay out of the hospital, and rights and laws in Massachusetts.

This training will be held in various parts of the state and online. Please check back as we will be updating this page with additional opportunities to take this training as new dates and locations are scheduled. Currently, this training is being offered:

Tuesday, May 7th ~ 9am – 5pm at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, MA

Friday, May 24th ~ 9am – 5pm at Advocates in Framingham, MA

Lunch will be provided for in-person trainings. Please reach out to info@wildfloweralliance.org if you need accommodations, transportation or childcare support to attend this training!

NOTE: This training is specifically for people who have lived experience navigating the psychiatric system or are personally at risk of psychiatric hospitalization, and their friends or family members who are supporting them in attending this training.
