Free Thanksgiving Meals hosted in Western Mass, 2020

The RLC will be having Fall Harvest Meals at our Bowen and Holyoke Centers:

Meals will be served in to-go containers with all social distancing and sanitary requirements maintained at our centers.
Exact plans of seating are evolving. We will be able to serve in shifts throughout the centers’ open hours to reduce folks waiting in line. We have plans for both indoor and open air spaces for gatherings of small groups within state guidelines.
We have the ability to serve in shifts to reduce gathering size.

This event, a Thanksgiving tradition, serves over 300 meals from 6pm-8pm at the Club and is open to everyone in the community! – This year we will feature a Grab & Go style dinner. More details to follow.
Admission is a non-perishable food item that is donated to Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen & Pantry
Menu traditionally consists of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, rolls, butter, cranberry sauce, dessert, coffee and juice.

This will be a Grab and go meal from a socially distanced line, no inside dining.
No reservations needed. Suggested donation $10 as able

Not Bread Alone: A Holiday meal will be served in to-go-bags this year on Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 26th from 1pm-2pm, in addition to the usual 3 meals a week on Wednesdays:4pm,Saturdays:12pm, Sundays:12pm
Groceries and other items are distributed at 12:30pm every Saturday.
Location: in the lower level dining room of the First Congregational Church in Amherst, 165 Main St., Amherst.
