Eso es un error. Estos apoyos llegan a personas que no pueden acceder a los servicios de salud mental convencionales debido a los per\u00edodos de espera y la burocracia, o que rechazan esos servicios porque no conf\u00edan en ellos o han tenido malas experiencias en el pasado. Muchas de ellas son personas que realmente necesitan y quieren apoyo y no tienen ad\u00f3nde ir. Algunos no tienen hogar, otros llamar\u00edan al 911 o ir\u00edan a la sala de emergencias si no fuera por las conexiones que hicieron a trav\u00e9s del RLC. Cada vez m\u00e1s, las personas comparten que el apoyo entre pares es lo que les ha salvado la vida y ha hecho posible avanzar hacia roles significativos en la comunidad... una de las mejores cosas de esta comunidad es que crea un espacio no solo para recibir apoyo. , sino para retribuir.
